In order to be a part of Valley Even Start, families:
• must be residents of Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, or Shelton
• must be in need of a high school diploma or English As A Second Language classes
• must have at least one child age 3-5 enrolled in a licensed preschool program
• must participate in all five program components.

Your family must commit to classes Mondays through Fridays, 20 hours a week.

A bi-monthly home visit will be conducted by the Valley Even Start Family Advocate and will be an enjoyable hour of sharing books, ideas, and fun activities.
