The Valley Even Start staff would like to welcome you to our web site. We offer many great opportunities for families that enjoy learning together. The program is offered at Valley Regional Adult Education in Shelton, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Families who participate in the Valley Even Start program will:

• improve English language skills in reading, writing, and oral language
• learn computer skills
• use these skills at home, at work, and with family
• better understand the different stages of child development
• increase the use of community resources
• continue to encourage learning
• increase the time spent reading, talking, and playing as a family
